I began practicing integrative therapies as part of my 25-year career as a Special Educator in the Metro Atlanta area. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders and a master’s degree in early childhood special education with a Preschool Endorsement. I have been a Reiki Master/Teacher since 2003 and was certified in Healing Touch in 2008. I am also a Master Rapid Eye Technologist (MRET), certified in this powerful therapy in 2006.

I am Co-Founder of the Beyond Surgery® Program created in 2009. This program is a pre- and post-surgical care package, which is customized to the needs of each client. It combines research-based Mind/Body techniques with Healing Touch/Reiki sessions to offer a protocol addressing the holistic needs of the client before and after any medical procedure or treatment. It is my belief that the body has its own innate intelligence and an enormous capacity for healing when supported in a holistic manner.

Currently, I focus on creating a customized path of service for each of my clients. I meet them where they feel their greatest needs lie and move forward using a fluid combination of these therapies along with essential oils when appropriate. I believe deeply in helping others to approach and move through any physical or mental health challenge with more confidence, less pain and anxiety, and to participate with intention in their own healing process. I also believe in teaching my clients self-care and self-healing techniques so that they can maintain their balance between sessions and enhance their well-being.
